Ok, so I had this event I needed to cover for my journalism class and some friends told me about this cool party happening at Brandeis. So, putting two and two together I figured I could do both and also have fun.But instead of having fun i had one of the biggest cultural shocks i have ever had since freshman year (I am now a senior at Boston University).
Pachanga had great music, great people and a great place to party... but these people came in with the wrong attitude (or at least that is what i thought)
To be politically correct with the people that did not participate in the half dressed up orgy, most of the students just wanted to rub their bodies against each other. In one word: SAD.
Please don't get the wrong idea, Im not a traditionalist or a nun, but i thought it was a bit too much for these young freshmen.
Sunday morning I woke up and a copy of the latest TIME MAGAZINE fell into my hands with an article called "The Truth about Teen Girls" that actually also talked about the fact that girls are growing up faster than ever!!!
I was just really glad I was not the only insane person out of the 1,000 at Pachanga.
